Veterinarians
Dr. Joseph R Hooker , DVM
| Dr. Hooker graduated with his DVM degree in 1979 from Auburn University, College of Veterinary Medicine in Alabama. He grew up in Marion county and has been practicing here since 1981. He has three cats, two dogs, and three horses. Dr. Hooker’s interests include spending time with his grandkids, gardening, flying planes, and fishing. |

Dr. Andrew Howe , DVM
| Dr. Howe graduated with his DVM degree in 1999 from the University of Florida, College of Veterinary Medicine. He grew up in Marion county and began working here in September of 2001. Dr. Howe has special interests in internal medicine and surgery. He has a variety of pets at home. Dr. Howe also has a passion for fitness and biking. |

Dr. Jennifer Pruitt , DVM
| Dr. Pruitt graduated with her DVM degree in 2004 from the University of Florida, College of Veterinary Medicine. She was born in Miami, Florida and began working for Airport Road Animal Clinic in August of 2006. Dr. Pruitt has a special interest in veterinary dentistry. She owns two cats, and three dogs. Dr. Pruitt’s interests include enjoying the outdoors and spending quality time with her husband and their daughter. |

Dr. Amy Clemons , DVM
| Dr. Clemons graduated with her DVM degree in 2008 from the University of Florida, College of Veterinary Medicine and received her Masters degree in Biology from the University of Central Florida in 2004. Dr. Clemons has a special interest in Animal Behavior and Dermatology. She has one dog and two birds. Dr. Clemons’ interests include watching Gator football, playing tennis, and spending time with her husband and their son. |

Dr. Amy Stone , DVM, PhD
| Dr. Stone graduated with her DVM degree in 1999 and her PhD in 2002 from the University of Florida. Her research interests are in immunology and vaccinology. She is now the Service Chief of the Outpatient Medicine and Dentistry Service in the Small Animal Hospital of the University of Florida as well as working part-time at Airport Road Animal Clinic. Dr. Stone’s personal interests include enjoying the outdoors and biking. |

Anthony
| Anthony joined our staff as a lab technician in 2003. He has a special interest in Small Animal Dentistry and Radiographs. Anthony has three dogs, nine Boer goats, and one turtle. In his spare time Anthony enjoys the outdoors and being a student at CFCC. |

Autumn
| Autumn began working here in 2007. She enjoys working in the boarding facility where she can spend time with the animals. She enjoys being a part of the weekend staff, which takes on large cleaning projects throughout the clinic. Autumn has a Chain King snake named Brya and a cat named Mystique. In her spare time Autumn enjoys drawing and painting, going to the movies, the beach, and spending time with friends. |

Brenda
| Brenda began working here in 1989. She enjoys working in the laboratory assisting doctors during exams, taking radiographs, and ordering all medical supplies for the clinic. She owns four dogs, three cats, and two birds. |

Cheryl
| Cheryl started here in 2002. She enjoys working in the laboratory and assisting doctors during surgery. Cheryl has interests in emergency surgery and critical care. She has five horses, three dogs, and three cats. In her spare time Cheryl enjoys riding her horses, motorcycling, and spending time with family. |

Danielle
| Danielle began working here in 2004 as a kennel technician. She enjoys working throughout the clinic, in the boarding facility, the laboratory, and working as a receptionist. Danielle has a Rottweiler named Bear. She enjoys school, going to the beach, outdoor activities, and spending time with friends. |

Deb
| Deb started working at the clinic as a receptionist in October of 2003. She has four dogs, named Vita, Roo-dee, Ringo, and Camo. She has two birds, an African grey and Moluccan Cockatoo. Deb also has five horses, four Arabians and one Quarter Horse. |

Deinna
| Deinna started working at the clinic in 2007. She enjoys being a veterinarian assistant providing care for animals and helping clients. Deinna has three Miniature Pinschers, two Chihuahuas, one English Bulldog, and one Persian cat. In her spare time she enjoys boating and taking care of her family. |

Diane
| Diane joined our staff as a receptionist in 2005. She has a Shepard/Lab mix named Sallie and two cats named Trick and Mini. Diane enjoys gardening in her spare time. |

Emily
| Emily joined our team in 2009 and enjoys working in the lab assisting doctors during surgery. She has a special interest in Small Animal Orthopedic Surgery. She has three cats. Emily is a full time student at the University of Florida studying Animal Science with plans to apply at University of Florida, College of Veterinary Medicine. |

| Erica began working here in 2007. She enjoys working in the boarding facility taking care of the animals. Erica has two cats, named Bonkers and Lola. In her spare time she enjoys going to the beach, fishing with her dad, and playing with her cats. |

| Helen has been assisting our surgical patients since 1997. She enjoys spending her spare time with her grandchildren, riding and training her horses, and likes to go air boating. |

Jessica
| Jessica joined our kennel staff in 2008. She enjoys working in the boarding facility; she likes bathing and being able to play with the boarding dogs. Jessica owns a Jack Russell Terrier/Basset Hound mix. In her spare time she enjoys going out to the movies, the beach, and doing fun activities outdoors. |

Kayleen
| Kayleen began working for us in 2005. She enjoys helping throughout the clinic, as a receptionist, in the laboratory, and in the boarding facility. Kayleen has two dogs and one bird, a Sun Conure. In her spare time she likes to ride horses, walk her dogs, baby sit, read, and enjoys school. |

| Lindsay began working for our clinic in 1999. She has three horses, four dogs, five cats, one rabbit, and one duck. In her spare time Lindsay likes to go horseback riding, fishing, boating, flying, and enjoying Lake Weir. |

| Sharon began working for Dr. Hooker in 2007. She enjoys working in the boarding facility, taking care of canine and feline boarders. Sharon has two cats: Rudi an orange tabby, and Beanie a gray longhaired tabby. During her spare time Sharon enjoys going out to dinner with family and traveling with her husband on their Harley Davidson motorcycles. |

| Teresa was hired onto our staff in 2003. She enjoys working in the lab assisting doctors and helping clients and their pets. Teresa also enjoys working in the kennel where she is able to spend time with boarding animals. She has one dog, one cat, one conure, several koi and goldfish. In her spare time she likes tending her ponds, rescuing and releasing wildlife, and gardening. |

| Tracy handles human resources responsibilities at the clinic such as employee benefits and payroll along with being a receptionist. She currently has two cats (Leo & Mia) and two dogs (Molly & Madison). Native to the area, Tracy enjoys gardening, decorating, traveling, cooking and shopping. |
